My parents always encouraged me to be proud of myself. Unfortunately, a lot of black people grew up thinking they're not pretty enough, they're too dark, their lips are too big or their hair isn't pretty enough. I don't want to be another color, because there is no race that has a history as hard as ours. Black people are the strongest, the strongest mentally, and I'm proud to wear this color every day of my life
