The Liberian Entertainment Awards Ceremony took place last night at the Lisner Theater in DC and new commer to the game Flex Sirleaf who is well known for his hit song Holy Ghost Fire Ft Akon. Won The Best New Artist Award.

The Hipco/Trapco artist won the "Best Hipco Artist" Award. Congratulation my mehn. I did not see any performance from him at the ceremony but he did perform at the after party show last night.

The Liberian Entertainment Awards (LEA) is going down right now as I write this and Munnnah the Lib Princess had quite a few words for the organization. Here is what she posted on her Facebook  fan page.

"I believe if you give someone a lifetime achievement awards it should be to a person with decades work and something that they have given to an industry which made a major change. This shit is all a shame cuz the same artist who are given lifetime achievement awards are the same artist who's been played majorly year after year by these awards shows using artist hard work to make money while they get respect. How Do you call an artist who vow to never go to these award shows after they have been used? Well I call them artist who wanna be seen, cuz they can't stand it when they're not having the social media attention. ROYALTY!"
