Just logged onto the LEA web site and noticed that Scientific name has been officially removed from the list of nominees in the Best Hip-Co Category! Only four nominees are now running for "Best Hip-Co" title instead of five nominees.. BEST HIPCO ARTIST

What ever the LEA committee ve decided to do I hope everything worked out for the best, especially for the artist (Scientific)
Let this be a lesson learned for all Liberians! Especially those people who can start the drama or help spread it (Complaining, Pointing Fingers) and then hide! N be on the side watching (spectators n act like they didn't start anything) "I don't want no drama".. Hmmm
If only we all were supporting/encouraging each other from the start, instead of putting words in other people mouths or heads. Maybe Scientific would have accepted that nomination! You never know.. Let this be a lesson please..

Rumor has it on social network (FB) that Liberian artists are not being respected or promoted good enough by the Liberian Entertainment Awards Organization. Some folks claimed that some of their favorite artists were not nominated. And also, Scientific, a Liberian rapper who is based in Ghana should not have been nominated in the "Best Hip-Co" category because he is a hip hop artist.
To answer some of their concerns:
Respect should come from both sides!
Respect must be earned! Keep in mind
Promotions: Artists should invest their time in social media and manage their own promotions or have your record company do it for you or personally reach out to the LEA team. LEA do promotions on FB and on their personal web page, but I am not sure if its free of charge on their personal page. Artists shouldn't expect the LEA organization to promote their work automatically. The LEA organization shouldn't be responsible for that so keep that in mind.
Also, Here is what I found out:

In General: My Advice: Be Inspired!
Some Liberian folks can really take some things way too personal and to a whole another level. This plenty complaining has got to stop in our community. We need to learn how to read and follow directions.
Also, I think the problem here is: Liberians are struggling for their identity in the industry and until we find ourselves that is the only way we all are going to move the Liberian Entertainment industry forward and in a positive way.
I hope that I answer some of your questions!
This one shoulder dress is one of my favorite dresses made by African Fashion Designer Korto Momolu so far on PRAllStars Season 3. I love love this dress, not so much on the model but I love the fabric and sheer panels at the shoulders and not to forget the overall look.. I think I would have rocked that dress better than the model thou…. lol So freaking lovely!
