"When we suffer a loss, a break-up, a painful change in our lives, we need to remember to take all the time we need to heal emotionally. Moving forward and getting back on track with our lives doesn't take a day. it takes lots of small steps to allow us to break free from our broken self and move on".
Since February is the month of love I have decided to share this song called "Mama, We Do" by Putugah Takpaw (PHENOM), it is the second single from Putugah's upcoming project: Save The World or Stop Trying 2014. This is a dedication record from Putugah Takpaw, his brother Jauz, sisters and the rest of the family to their late mama and loved ones who have passed on that they loved and missed dearly.
This record is also a "dedication record that you can apply to any of your loved ones who have also passed on", that you loved and missed. What a very touching song and or record, for those who loves and misses their loved ones. This song also gives you closure as well..
Take courage! May Your Loved Ones Soul Rest in Perfect Peace!
Thanks for Stopping by my blog spot!
Tuesday January 28, 2014 was ex Liberian president, Charles Taylor 66th Birthday. Right!
I want to take this time to say Happy Belated Birthday to Ex Liberian President: Charles Taylor!
Keep in mind, the ex president of Liberia is currently serving a 50 year sentence in Great Britain's for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
However, some of his admirers, political followers, associates, ex fighters, etc, gathered in Gbartala Town, Liberia, West Africa, on Tuesday January 28, in the streets, churches etc to mark his 66th Birthday.
Check it out below:
Charles Taylor Turns 66:
The celebration didn't stop there, some of his admirers, political followers, associates, ex fighters, in the U.S. and in Liberia of course even took it on social media (FB).
Right after a Happy Birthday post was put up in one of the Liberian groups on Facebook. That was when everything chakala eh! (Liberian English)
Non supporters like myself, are saying Taylor is a warlord and other supporters are saying he is a war-hero/Hero?
My Advice Be Inspired:
I can only speak for myself, so its only right that I say this: Liberian ex president Charles Taylor is definitely not a "War-Hero" or "Hero" in my book.
A War-Hero supposed to perform heroic acts under fire and Taylor failed our people and matter of fact he was found guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity; therefore he is currently being punish for the rest of his life for that. So he is not a "War-Hero". Like the saying goes "no man can undo what God has done". This man is far away from Liberia, Sierra Leone, etc and he is now in the hands of Great Britain's finally facing real punishment for his war crimes and I am so glad that he is out of Africa.
At this point may God have mercy on this man because I don't think many Liberians or even Sierra leoneans will ever do so.

I want to take this time to say Congratulations to the Grand Bassa County football team/ basketball team and the Bong County kick-ball team on winning the 2013/2014 National County Meet this year in Liberia, West Africa.

Well, I had no clue what the National County Meet was all about so I asked a good friend of my family named Mr. JWK (Abbreviation) who is currently living in Liberia about the County Meet:
He told me that the County Meet is a yearly sports meet for all counties in Liberia to participate in sports such as (Football, Kickball, Basketball, Volleyball, Track and Field, etc). Some games were played in various counties and different venues but the semi final and final game were scheduled at the Samuel Kanyon Doe (SKD) sports complex in Monrovia but the final game was over crowded with supporters, causing the fence near the stadium wing to be broken by fans to get on the perimeter of the field.
Also, I asked him whether or not the fans were being prevented from running on the Perimeter of the field:
He said yes that they were being prevented from going on the perimeter of the field but heads broke loose and they force their way unto the perimeter the only thing the security personnel could do was to allowed them finally and restricted them.
I then asked him after the fans broke the stadium wing and got unto the Perimeter of the field was the security personnel able to control the crowd:
He told me that the security personell did extremely well by controlling the crowd after they got on the field, security personnel restrained them, which was properly managed by Liberia Black Belt holder in Taekwondo.
I also asked him what advice would he give:
He said that ticket be sold per seat to avoid over crowdedness.
I also asked if he would attend the event (County Meet at SKD) next year and what would he do different he said: Yes he would attend another event but will go for VIP or near VIP not stadium wing or around the field.
